Modular Systems

Modular systems are solutions that can be tailored and adapted to customer needs. When tailoring a system for an application, a processor board (Power PC or x86) is typically used and combined with suitable I/O-boards to create the desired I/O-interface.

There are different ways a modular system can be mounted depending on which module is used. For portable applications, e.g. in a test car, AutoBox is suitable. For systems which are mounted in a rack, Expansion boxes are available and for larger simulators, e.g. HIL-systems, complementary signal coordination and fault injection can be used.
