Full-Size Simulator

dSPACE Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators allows for ECU testing in a virtual environment where for example engine and vehicle are replaced by Simulink® models. Parts of the environment which are difficult to simulate or should be included in the test can be integrated as physical components in the closed loop system. Beyond signal conditioning and communication protocols, we also have solutions for fault injection on an electrical level in order to simulate short circuits and cable breaking.

We provide mainly three different kinds of simulators: Mid-Size, Full-Size and SCALEXIO. As a complement to the hardware, we also have a wide range of software for controlling and automating testing.

Full-Size allows the customer to fully design the simulator after their own specifications. The entirety of dSPACEs portfolio and experience are available, and custom solutions can be added.
